RBI Grade ‘B’ Exam : Eligibility

1.The present age criteria of “Between 21 to 30 years” will be retained.

2. For M. Phil and Ph. D candidates the upper age limit will be 32 and 34 years, respectively.

3. Minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD) or equivalent in Bachelor’s Degree as well as in 12th and 10th standard examinations.

1. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, based on aggregate of marks obtained in Phase-II (Paper-I +Paper-II +Paper-III).

2.The interviews have a weightage of 50 marks.

3.Final selection is made based on performance in both phase – II and the interviews.

RBI Grade ‘B’ Exam : Salary

The salary of Grade B Officer in RBI varies as per the area of posting.

Basic Pay:  Rs. 35,150/- pm
Pay scale: Rs. 35150 – 1750(9) – 50900 – EB – 1750(2) – 54400 – 2000(4) – 62400
Gross Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 65,789/- (approx)
Allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA), Local Allowance, House Rent Allowance (HRA), Family Allowance,  and Grade Allowance.
Perquisites: Bank’s accommodation subject to availability, reimbursement of expenses for maintenance of vehicle for official purpose, newspaper, telephone charges, book grant, allowance for furnishing of residence, etc. Free dispensary facility, reimbursement of medical expenses for OPD treatment/hospitalization, interest free festival advance, leave fare concession, loans & advances at concessional rates of interest for Housing, Car, Education, Consumer Articles, PC etc. Selected Candidates will be governed by the ‘defined contribution New Pension Scheme (NPS)’ in addition to the benefit of Gratuity.
